Tao of Jeet Kune Do

Toa of JKD

A must-read, not only for Jeet Kune Do enthusiast, but for every martial artist. I remember when I bought my first copy of the book in 1993 – described to me as the road map for Jeet Kune Do. Read Bruce Lee’s comments, observations and written research on training methods and techniques. The last two chapters include reflections of Lee’s philosophy and its application toward Jeet Kune Do.

The book’s dedication is as follows, “This Book is Dedicated to the free, Creative Martial Artist. Take what is useful and develop from there.”

I want to encourage practitioners and enthusiasts in any martial art to read this book, then re-read it periodically throughout your training and development. Make notes in the margins for your own personal references. You might be surprised how the same words or a certain passage might have different meanings as you progress in your own development.
